Bethany L Gale,
Bethany’s passion for bodywork sparked when she watched her father transition from a stressed out EMT/Fire Fighter battling cancer, into a man at peace as his spirit was eased into the afterlife. That spark grew after watching what a change bodywork made on her son who struggles with the physical effects of Anxiety/Depression/ADHD (which she calls the Bermuda Triangle Mind/Body Effect) Now, her passion thrives with helping stressed individuals breathe easier, reduce chronic pain + achieve better mind/body balance. She works with her clients in various ways, including massage + bodywork, guided interactive meditations, breath work and customized botanical oil blends.
Bethany graduated with Honors in Professional Clinical Massage and Bodywork Therapy from Southeastern Institute, Charlotte, NC in September 2014. She is currently studying online with Aromahead Institute to become a nationally certified Aromatherapist. In the past several years she has also been researching on her own, but also with the members of the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine, about the effects trauma has on the body, and how certain mental health conditions may find an ease in symptoms through trauma focused bodywork.
In her life outside of work, Bethany enjoys time spent with her husband, son and daughter. Family park trips have become a weekly routine, as well as movie nights with pop corn and tea. When she has some time to herself, Bethany is usually reading a book (favorite authors include Cassandra Clare, Holly Black, Marissa Meyer & Stephanie Meyer) or she is taking a meditation journey to find her next project.

A Florida native, I graduated from Pensacola State College’s Massage Therapy program in Pensacola, Florida in December 2014 and moved to South Carolina where I was licensed and began massage work.
I appreciate how massage can help people feel cared for and can relieve stress. It’s a wonderful career where people are always excited for their session and feel more at ease and relaxed when they leave. It’s such a positive environment and focusing on my client’s goals for each session is my passion. Whether they’re looking for quiet relaxation, pain management, or a new self-care habit, I love to tailor my approach to their needs.
I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for over seven years. I’m a native of South Carolina. I’m knowledgeable in different massage/stretching techniques and exercises. My goal is to use my knowledge, skills and experience to help improve your quality of life. Let’s work together!
A lifelong athlete, Alicia is a believer that what happens off of the field is just as (or more!) important than what happens on it.
In pursuit of self exploration and helping other athletes gain a physical and emotional competitive edge, Alicia completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training under Victoria Martinez of Chakra Flow University. Leaving YTT with the desire to learn more about the healing power of touch, she attended North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork, graduating in Spring, 2021.
Outside of work, Alicia enjoys coaching high school rugby, cooking, and spending time with her family and new puppy, George. She loves to travel, is a proud USC alumnae and feels most at home near a body of water.
